Addiction & Trusts - It Looks Great On Paper, But Does It Work?
Join the Los Angeles Estate Planning Council for our February meeting as Stuart D. Zimring presents Addiction & Trusts - It Looks Great On Paper, But Does It Work?
Planning and drafting for trust beneficiaries who have substance abuse issues presents numerous challenges ranging from:
Should we do it all?
How much authority should a Trustee be given to meddle in a Beneficiary’s private life?
Once we’ve drafted the language, how sure are we that it will work?
This presentation will explore these questions (and many more) with examples of trust provisions our speaker has used and encountered over the years
